Gosh, this is beautiful!
I really love how her eye is so...clear and yet you can see the confusion in it. And my eye is drawn straight to hers.
This is very touching.

The look on her face almost made me cry, it reminded me of my grandfather. He is currently in a nursing home in China, has Alzheimer's, and can barely recognize his own daughter, but can still remember his wife.

Great, now I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

i took care of my mom for 18 years ... she had alzheimer's ... there are so many with this disease that are left to die in nursing homes ... my mom had few moments of clarity but the one i remember most was when she described it as living in a nightmare u can't wake up from ... she died in her sleep 2 years ago ... i hope shes happy and knows who i am

This makes me tear up...

I work in a Nursing Home... Every feeling I have towards my work and my patients I see reflected in this work.

Excellent job!
